A product of the clubs academy, Oli is a versatile back who can play; full-back or in the halves. 

Oil joined the club aged 16 and made his first team debut in 2021 against the York City Knights.

Leyland was the runner up in the Championship Young Player of the Year award in 2022 however he did pick up the Broncos top point scorer with 102 points with two tries and 47 goals.

Leyland was a key figure in the 2023 Championship winning side and made his Super League debut in Round 1 of the Super League season against Saint Helens.
