South Complete the Sweep in U14 & U16 Origin Series!
The South win both U14 & U16 Series 2-0 in outstanding display of rugby league!

The South turned out two strong performances of rugby league to win both the U14 and the U16 London Rugby League Origin Series 2025 2-0. With both South teams having won in Game 1 at Brentwood Eels, the North were looking for a strong response, and they got it in both games, before the South finally ran out as the victors.
In the U14s match, Captain and Half-Back Finn Barnes put in a Player of the Match performance, scoring two tries and slotting a couple of goals as the South eventually won 34-6, having been 10-0 up at half time. Ngu, Astley and Sutton also got over the line, with Sutton adding a couple of goals of his own, while Krantz touched down for the North. Matai Milner was Player of the Match for the North, while Eastern Rhinos’ hard running 2nd Row, Sebastian Nungari was awarded Player of the Series.
For the U16s, the North started strongly, with their bigger team smarting from last week’s defeat, and they got out to an early lead. However, the South dug in and tries from Zidour, Hale and Morrow made it 18-4 at half-time. The North hit back however, to leave the game on a knife edge at 18-10 with 20 mins to go, before some outstanding play from the South saw them pull away to a 48-20 victory. Prop Zach Kelly was Player of the Match for the South, with Alex Yule Player of the Match for the North. The South’s Tackle Machine Will Hale was awarded Player of the Series.
Luke Polselli and Brandon Webster Mansfield from the London Broncos both attended the matches. Having been impressed with the standard of play, they presented the trophies to the Players of the Series and the winning Captains. Above all, the Series has shown the high quality of junior rugby league players in London and the bright future for London Rugby League.
